Participating guilds in various costumes with beautiful to eerie masks, as well as the typical Carnival brass band music, will impress you.

Da-Bach-Na-Fahrt: A well-known event beyond the region in Schramberg. Fearless captains with their vehicles try to complete the course in the stream without getting wet.

Narrensprung in Rottweil: A special feature in Rottweil is that all carnival figures - Federahannes, Biß, Geschell, Fransenkleid, Schantle - jump together in no particular order, rather than walking in groups. The Federahannes perform daring jumps with their long poles. With a calf’s tail attached to the top, they tickle the spectators’ noses.
